The Northwood Rangers *Disbanded*

Hello :Testing:

We are a faction designed for three specific objectives:

1. Protect the Forest
2. Protect the innocent
3. Work with The Legion to hunt down fugitives that have alluded their grasp.

If there is a perm. faction that could be considered "The Bounty Hunters" We are them. We never will seek to kill our targets, we wish only to bring them to justice, but if the situation calls for it, we will use lethal force.

Rangers are survivalists. We keep more to our own domain then the cities. It will be rare to see a ranger in town, as we prefer the forest and the open road. Mostly archers in nature, we live for the hunt, and have been known to use bows in many ways related to the tasks at hand.

I'd rate myself at about a nine. I love to immerse in what other people are doing and try to make a story line and have fun.

I'd rate myself at about a nine again. I've played cRPG for years, and the only things that ever get me is when I swing in a different direction than when I want to and it throws me off track. Also, I have a pretty bad computer, so my FPS might affect this also.

About a 7. I need some practice, but RP teaches all, and teachings teach others.

I love to see good roleplayers just play the game and not bitch and moan about what happens to them. I was playing with a couple of you today and your roleplay was crisp, neatly typed, and pretty much enjoyable to be around. I love to play with good roleplayers also; I feel like I fit in much more with people like me.

As a both a big fan of Tolkien lore and Mount and Blade PW, the Northwood rangers is an obvious choice. Protecting the innocent, punishing criminals, and simply making the server a better place while also enjoying sessions of RP and fun with friends is something I'm looking for, and the Northwood rangers seem perfect for that. I'm also friends with Numenor, if that helps!

4. Level of RP (1-10): 7 I don't normally do advanced RP but I am good enough to know the Meta Game Rules and such and willing to follow them. In a conversation I'm smart enough to stay in character and can understand how probable cause for conflict works.
5. Hand to hand skill (1-10): 9 I have played Warband for years and my skill in hand to hand is very good. I can feint and do accidental chambers from time to time (I can never do it on purpose for some reason). I am skilled with 1h, 1h+shield, spear, and 2h.
6. Archery Skill (1-10): 6 I can gauge distance and hit a horse easily but the rider not as easily. It usually takes me a shot or two to get the right distance on a target.
7. Why do you want to join our ranks?: I'll be honest I'm more interested not in the RP Goal but the idea of being a ranger. I like the idea of having a unique character and the Rangers seem more unique then most of the factions currently on the server. I enjoy doing something different from most people and is exciting. I understand that this isn't the best reason to join but I'd rather be honest why I want to join instead of making some BS.

I'm getting sick of getting stuck in a war I don't want to be in and I wish to play with a faction that uses legitimate roleplay whenever needed and not just: Oh your a bad guy, you must die!

I am trying to address each application one at a time. We will be getting back to everyone slowly. I do not want us to grow too fast, and lose our organization. Anyways another option, if you do not get accepted here, or do not want to wait, is to join The Legion. We work closely with them, and you would essentially be doing the same thing. On the Gang Wars map, we will be the ruling power in the city, as other factions will be gangs. During this time, the gangs will be all the factions, and each faction will have a shop in the open market.
-During gang wars, northwood and the legion will be one faction.

Hey I won't be joining the Rangers anymore. I plan to try and lead the new Northwood Village instead. It might end up I'll be like Spartacus and become perma leader. I guess we'll see as time goes on.
