The Varangian Guard

Welcome brave men of the Empire!
To all those who do not know, the Varangian Guard is historically the guards of the Eastern Roman Emperor, or later the Byzantine Empire. They came from Scandanavia, and fought with axes and large round shields, in a Nordic style. Our duty is to patrol the Empire, and look for any crimes, whether against commoners, or other factions.

Rules:
1. Never steal from the money chest
2. Only use violence in an arrest if it is absolutely needed (We do not want to be disliked)
3. Do not fight with another Guardsman, bring complaints to me.
4. Do not tamper the honor of the Guard, and do not interfere in the relations of opposing Lords, unless absolutely necessary.

Laws:
1. Murder, or attempted murder= Murder is punishable by public execution, and so is a failed attempt
2. Quarrels= If 2 or more men are quarreling, their sentence is not death, even if one of the participants was killed, as both parties were willing.
3. Theft (Burglary)= Burglary shall be a minimum jail sentence
4. Theft (Robbery)= The use of force to unlawfully tax or rob shall be punished by a longer sentence, and possibly a hard fine.
5. Public Obstruction= Any other unruly or disruptive behavior, punishment shall be decided.

Had some problems. If you are going to declare war, and go help to cap a castle, or try and take one yourself, then I will make yours able to be captured. Otherwise stop going to war. Also no more siding with praven, that castle is hard as fuck to take down. If you are going to be peace keepers, then go arrest and RP that. There are too many problems that fall on my lap because you guys are triggerhappy. bored? Go arrest someone, and RP it. Stop declaring war.

Alright, we can disband it if people are that upset. Just know we have never laid siege to another castle, and we only defend praven church, just like you asked. It's always been our role play. We do have some members that are to trigger happy, but I'd rather remove them then ruin all of our fun. And the war we had that wasn't over praven was declared on us. Maybe people can do what we said, and RP with us not to fight

There were 4 of them late at night from what I understand. The next day I log in, and the vangarian had another fort. Anyways too many problems dude, I get complaints about this group every day. There is a formerly successful merc band that sends out doctors, and is a positive influence on the server that will be receiving the outpost. sorry dude.
